My husband and I, plus two other couples spent a delightful evening together at True North last night. We took advantage of the Two for Tuesday menu and we were not disappointed! We had reservations and when we arrived our table was ready for us. Kayleigh, our server, was by our side and took our drink orders and answered all our questions. She remained attentive and professional throughout the evening.
I ordered the Papi’s Punch which was such an appropriate drink for October. The food was not only amazing but the portions were so generous. Kudos to the chef!!!
We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back soon … 🤩

We celebrated Father’s Day 2022 here. The stuff were above and beyond friendly and helpful! We ordered the NY strip steak and Halibut special for entrees and butterfinger bread pudding for dessert. Can’t wait to be back!

True North Kitchen is an absolute gem! The food is a solid 10/10 and the hospitality? Easily an 11/10. The fried shrimp is hands down the best on the South Shore—perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. Honestly, everything we’ve tried here has been top notch. You can tell they put real care into every dish. We can’t wait to come back and try the pizza next. If you’re in the area and not a regular yet, you’re seriously missing out!

Nice brunch. Better food than I was expecting, with a tasty take on fried chicken and waffles. Bloody Mary bar was great (what variety!) and you can get it virgin if you like. Vegetables were lacking in the menu and healthier fare was limited.

Food: Chicken Lettuce Wraps (Lightly fried chicken with sweet thai chili, mango slaw, spicy peanut dipping sauce); creamed spinach, and mashed potatoes
Ambiance: A casual, dim lit, and spacious venue.
Parking: The venue has a parking lot.
Pricing: It's fair pricing, it is not pricey.
Food (flavors): The chicken lettuce wraps were also full of flavor, it had a combination of fresh, sweet, and spicy flavors. I truly enjoyed them. The creamed spinach was great, it was seasoned well and had a combination of fatty and salty flavors. The mashed potatoes were pretty standard, it didnt have any unique flavors.
Portion size: Somewhat large portions.

My wife and I went to True North on Thursday August 25th for our last dinner before heading back up to New York. From the drinks, to the food and service we would gladly go back. I got a lemon drop martini and my wife got a sangria. For dinner I got the pork Milanese which came with arugula and tomatoes and I also got a bowl of the chicken and corn chowder (AMAZING). My wife got the braised short rib with garlic mash and asparagus. Asparagus was cooked PERFECTLY and the short rib could not have been more tender. She also got a cup of the clam chowder. Another thing tk note on Thursday’s they have a ‘fixed price’ menu where you get a cup of soup or salad, a drink and an entree of your choice that is on their list of options so my dinner was 36 bucks! Our server was Lynne L and she was so nice. Overall 10/10 would recommend and I’m so sad it’s so far away! We will be back :)

Love this place. It's really great food, priced reasonably and the staff couldn't be any better. If you haven't been here you have to put it on your bucket list. It will be one of your "go to" favorites.

Ate here on Saturday night and it was delicious! We called around 5 to make a last minute reservation for 6:30 and we’re easily accommodated. Sat quickly when we arrived. The place isn’t too large, but they do have a large bar with seating as well. There’s a parking lot which is kind of tight but they have an overflow lot across the street as well! The place was loud with the B’s game on but not to the point where we couldn’t hear each other talk! We ordered the fried pickles and home made potato chips with caramelized onion dip to start. Both were delicious! Batter on the pickles was good, not too thick or too think and the buffalo ranch dipping sauce is what makes it! The homemade potato chips were thin, crispy, and salty and the onion dip was rich but not overpowering with onion flavor. My boyfriend ordered the burger of the month with chorizo and chiles which he said was delicious and cooked just as he ordered. And I got the Detroit style pepperoni pizza. I’ve never had Detroit style, but I loved this! The crispy, cheesy crust was my favorite part. The sauce was slightly spicy, slightly sweet on top, the pepperoni was salty and the dough was soft and chewy. 10/10! Waitress was quick and funny too!

After a long drive from Toronto to the outskirts of Boston, you want nothing more than to enjoy good food, good service and somewhere to relax.
True North is all of them with bells on.
The staff could not have been friendlier.
The food, all of it was fresh, hot and delicious, the portions were huge and the drinks were well made, local and reasonably priced.
If you find yourself in the birthplace of Dunkin Doughnuts, pay True North a visit, you won't be disappointed.
